We serve you six days a week.
We recognize that you are as busy as we are, so we are open six days a week to serve you better. Later day appointments can often be accommodated as well.
We make sure you know what you are signing.
We will always be asking for your signature, however before you sign, you will know exactly what you are signing.
We respond back to you within 48 hours
We aim to respond back to your questions within 48 hours or less. If you cannot reach us by phone, the quickest way to get a response is to send us an email. We will get back to you as soon as we can. Your questions and feedback are very important to us, so do not hesitate to contact us.
We keep you up-to-date
We do not keep you in the dark. While we do not inundate you with details, we keep you informed throughout the process. If you ever want to know where things stand at a particular moment, just give us a call.

Alex Luk, MA, CFP - Notary Public
Alex came to Compass Notary with a wealth of knowledge from the banking sector where he worked as an advisor for almost seven years. He graduated from Simon Fraser University (SFU) with a Bachelor of Business Administration Honour. After graduation, he furthered his education by obtaining various designations including Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Financial Management Advisor (FMA), and Canadian Investment Manager (CIM). He has also completed all three levels of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exams. He later pursued Master of Arts in Applied Legal Study at SFU. After completing the master's study and passing all six statutory exams, he was commissioned as a notary public.

Alex is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
Elizabeth (Ella) Law, MA - Notary Public
Ella has a diverse range of expertise and a strong passion for the field of business and law. With a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta, Ella has established a solid foundation in commerce and management. Ella further enhanced her academic pursuits by pursuing a Master of Arts in Applied Legal Studies at the Simon Fraser University. This advanced degree has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of the practical application of legal principles. With a background in mortgage lending and insurance, Ella has gained invaluable experience in the financial industry. Her expertise in these areas allows her to provide holistic advice and guidance. Beyond the professional and work achievements, Ella possesses a true passion for dogs. As a dog owner herself, she has experienced the joy that these furry friends bring into our lives.
